Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, passed away January 19 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactress, television, film and theatre director. Pleshette began her career in the theatre and then began to appear in films around the late 1950s. She later was featured in films of note such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Pleshette also appeared in a variety of television productions, often as guest actors. Pleshette was nominated for numerous Emmy Awards for her role in the role of Emily Hartley, on The Bob Newhart from 1972 until 1978.
